Pack 1504 is an active Cub Scout Pack with over 100 Scouts.  Chartered in 1969 by the Waynewood Elementary School PTA, Pack 1504 has been providing boys with opportunities to learn and grow for over 45 years.  We strive to provide all our Scouts with a range of opportunities to advance through the Scouting ranks, provide service to the community, explore new activities, develop new skills, and most importantly, have fun while doing it!

We're always happy to welcome new families at any level of Cub Scouting and at any time during the year.  To find out more about our pack and Scouting in general go to the Join Scouting page or Contact Us.

Pack 1504 2017-2018 Annual Plan
For your reference, we have posted a one-page calendar of Pack activities for this scouting year.  Specific event details are posted in the Pack 1504 Calendar. This one-page guide is intended to be posted on your refrigerator as a quick reference & to aid your family's planning efforts. (Please note this one-pager does NOT include Den meetings and activities, nor any of the Optional activities that come up throughout the year - stay tuned to the Web Calendar for those!)

Pack 1504 Parent Survey

In order to deliver the rich, meaningful experiences that only Scouts can provide, we need you as parents to contribute with your time and talents to help ensure we deliver on the promise of developing your boys. Please take a moment to complete this new online parent survey.

Hello Everyone,

The Pack Committee convened an emergency meeting this morning at 8 am.  After reviewing all of our options, including use of other venues, we decided that we must postpone the Blue and Gold Banquet to a future date.  The AOL Ceremony will go forward as scheduled but with a change of venue.  The new venue will be St. Luke's Episcopal Church (8009 Fort Hunt Road).

Save the Date - Wreaths Across America

Posted by tsalter on Nov 13 2017 - 8:00pm

This is just a save the date reminder for December 16th, 2017 for this year's Wreaths Across America at Alexandria National Cemetery. This year they've come up with a good website where you can make a donation for the cost of the wreaths. So far they've funded only 282 of 5001 graves, so any donations would be appreciated.

The time of the ceremony will be 12:00pm, but please block out time to get there early around 11:30am, as it is always a drag to have people filing in during the opening ceremonies and prayer.

More information and reminders to follow.

Calendar is current through Aug 2018
